Teflon paint is a unique industrial coating with excellent properties that other industrial coatings cannot match:

  • Non-stickiness: almost all substances are not bonded to Teflon paint. The thin film also shows good adhesion properties.
  • Heat resistance: Teflon coating has excellent heat resistance and low temperature resistance. It can withstand high temperatures up to 300 °C in a short time. Generally can be used continuously between 240 °C – 260 °C. Because of its significant thermal stability, it will not brittle even work under freezing temperature, and will not melt at high temperature.
  • Sliding resistance: Teflon coating has a lower friction coefficient, it will changes occur when the load sliding, but the value is only between 0.05 – 0.15.
  • Moisture proof: Teflon coating surface does not touch water and oil. It is not easy to dip solution during the production operation, if there are a small amount of dirt, simple wipe can be removed. Thus will saving labor-hour and improving working efficiency.
  • Wear resistance: it has excellent wear resistance even under high load. Under certain load, it has the dual advantages of wear resistance and non-adhesion.
  • Corrosion resistance: Teflon is almost immune to drug erosion and can protect components from any kind of chemical etching.

Because of the above comprehensive advantages, Teflon micro expanded metal is mainly used for screening and filtration in acid and alkaline environment. Such as sludge handling screen for petroleum, screen mesh for chemical fiber industry, pickling nets for electroplating industry, oil-water separation and food industry filtering, etc.
